My husband and I work a variation of hours each week. I work 12 hour shifts, but only 3 shifts a week. I have my schedule set in 6 week increments. My husband works 4 days a week, but the days vary week by week. Some weeks we may only need 1 day of child care, and some weeks we may need 3 days. Days would start at 6 a.m. and end anywhere from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. We are willing to pay $1, 300 a month regardless of hours worked. 1 day or 3 days, the pay would be the same. Rarely would it be 3 days a week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday would never be needed, his grandmother will watch him those days if needed. We have 3 golden doodles, but we have a dog sitter that picks them up and takes them to day care around 7:30 in the mornings on the days we work. So must be comfortable being around dogs, typically for only an hour and a half.
