Description: Are you a nurturing, dependable, and proactive nanny who loves supporting families through exciting seasons of change? A kind and devoted mom in Chapel Hill is looking for a loving nanny partner to help care for her two children (ages 4 and 2), and a new baby is arriving in December! This role will begin as part-time (25-30 hours/week) and transition to full-time (40 hours/week) in early 2026 as the family welcomes their newest addition. Ideal Candidate The family is seeking someone who is: Supportive, patient, and emotionally attuned, especially as the family navigates a period of transition. Engaging and playful, with a natural ability to connect and make children feel seen and secure. Experienced with infants and multiple young children, confident in balancing different developmental needs. Organized and self-starting, comfortable managing the home and daily routines. Active and outdoorsy, loves playgrounds, walks, and exploring local adventures. Consistent and calm with discipline, helps children express feelings, understand boundaries, and feel safe to communicate openly. Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of professional childcare/nanny experience (experience with infants required) CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Clean driving record and valid driver's license Able to lift/carry young children and manage stairs safely Up-to-date vaccinations preferred (flu, TDAP, COVID) Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically between 7:30 am-6:00 pm (varies slightly by day) Start Date: Ideally November (flexible for the right fit) Hours: 25-30 hrs/week to start, transitioning to 40 hrs/week in early 2026 Pay: $24-$26/hour (depending on experience) Paid Time for Vacation, Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays Family car available for driving children If you are a mature, professional, and fun-loving nanny who enjoys building long-term relationships and becoming part of a family's team, we'd love to hear from you!
