About the job
Our family values kindness, creativity, and curiosity. We homeschool and love encouraging lifelong learning, self-sustainability, and practical life skills. Our kids are active, high-energy, and enjoy hands-on projects, outdoor adventures, building with Legos, science and sensory activities, art, reading, and helping with small chores. They do best with guidance through transitions, gentle reminders, and encouragement when trying new or unfamiliar things. We have two cats and a dog; the kids don’t normally play with the pets as they can overwhelm them, but they sometimes take turns walking the dog or helping feed the animals under supervision. We’re looking for a patient, energetic caregiver with experience in child-led learning who can balance fun, learning, and structure.
