He loves to run around in open outdoor spaces like the sculpture park or just going on a walk - anywhere he can explore. Loves playing at the playground with other kids. Loves cars, trains, construction vehicles, etc. He has a speech delay and receptive language delay - both have improved significantly with weekly speech therapy. His receptive language has improved a lot, but he still needs some extra help. This looks like explaining boundaries and expectations before going somewhere, because when theres a lot of new things he has a harder time processing directions. But he does a great job of following expectations that are set ahead of time, and does well with redirection in the moment. Were still working on following directions in the moment, but hes made huge improvements and gets better everyday.
