We have a 10-year-old boy with Down Syndrome who loves music, dancing, swimming, minecraft, and cartoons. He has a difficult time communicating verbally but understands everything that is spoken to him. He loves hugs and high fives. Can be stubborn, though! We also have an 8-year-old girl who loves playing and socializing with friends, minecraft, her dog (Bo), and playing on her tablet. As far as specific care, our son has Celiac disease, so he cannot eat gluten. Having Down Syndrome, he has developmental delays (speech) but is a happy boy. Our daughter is fairly independent but also likes to help with her brother, if needed.
