Special Needs Personal Care Assistant

About the job

We are looking for a personal care assistant for our 23-year-old daughter with autism. She has limited communication skills but is able to use single words but sometimes can be hard to understand until you know her. She has some on and off behavior issues like repetitive behaviors and understanding social etiquette. She needs assistance in a lot of daily living activities. A lot of things she just needs reminders/prompts but sometimes she needs more direct hands on assistance like grooming. Other parts of the job would include taking her out for a ride or to the mall, taking her swimming at the beach and general supervision. We are looking for someone to work part time less than 10 hours a week. Hours are flexible.
