Our son J lives with us. His work coach of many years is going to retire in June. The work coach picks J up at home at 9 a.m. and brings him back at 2 p.m. 5 days a week. The job entails helping him with a volunteer position and taking him on community errands including lunch. His work coach will be paid approximately $18. 50 per hour by Community Living Services and $10 per hour by us for a total of approximately $28 per hour . Our son J is a loving and happy young man with autism and is semi-verbal.
