Now Hiring: Part-Time Respite Caregiver - NE Grand Rapids Seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver for a joyful and adorable 6-year-old with a neurological disorder. Seeking someone reliable and trustworthy. & FUN! About the Child: Nonverbal & non-ambulatory Uses AAC device - eye gaze (Tobii Dynavox) Requires full assistance with care routines Feeding tube (training provided if needed) Schedule: Saturdays: 4-6 hours (afternoon or evening) One weekday: Monday or Tuesday, 3:30-6:30 p.m. Responsibilities: Interactive play (toys, crafts, games, sensory activities) Outings to park, adaptive bike/stroller rides or local sensory gym Assist with feeding & bathroom routine Encourage use of AAC device Support safe, engaging, high-quality care Ideal Candidate: CPR certified Experience with children with disabilities and mild seizures.
