Seeking a responsible individual to care for two children, ages 3 and 8. We are located on a small wooded island in a pristine lake in Central Maine. Ideal candidates will be energetic, creative, and compassionate; enthusiastic about the outdoors and comfortable swimming, fishing, boating, and adventuring; and highly responsible and professional but also warm and loving. Responsibilities include activity planning, ensuring safety in and around the water, and snack prep and light housework (e. g. dishes) in a rustic setting. Dates: Approx. June 24-August 13. Hours: 7:30am-3 p.m. consistently with longer hours at the beginning and end of the summer, and as negotiated on other days. Option to either live at camp in a cabin shared (all meals included) or to commute each day. Details of pay and time off to be negotiated.
