About Us: We are a daycare currently residing in a quiet part of Winchester, MA. We take care of all children between the ages of infancy to 5 years. Tiny Tots daycare offers a range of educational services depending on the age of the child. For babies and toddlers we cover a range of subjects such as Colors, Shapes, ABC's, Numbers and much more. Usually we tailor the lesson depending on the child's ability and needs. For older children we do daily activities including arts and crafts, writing practice, phonics, coloring and much more. Our daycare also provides an excellent social environment for children and young toddlers. The toddlers play together in a room and do activities under supervision while the older children are taught in a "classroom" style so that we may prepare them for kindergarten. Free play time is mixed aged to allow the children the opportunity to learn how to interact with students of various ages and how to accommodate their social and emotional behaviors accordingly. Other activities are listed below Arts and crafts Field trips to the library Play time in our gated backyard Story time Trips to the park (located less than one minute from our home) We provide fresh home made breakfast and lunch everyday to all children including snacks Although we operate from our home and have a small student population we emphasize to our students and parents that we take our curriculum as seriously as any other school. Our philosophy is to provide children with a warm and nurturing environment where they can bloom and grow. When signing on with us we first do a two week paid trial period to see if the employee is a good fit for our daycare. If all goes well we will offer a 12 month contract position. If the employee wishes to continue with our daycare after the contract expires we will offer a permanent position. Initial salary is based on education, experience and certifications. However, pay can increase if the employee performs proficiently and increases their responsibilities. Requirements: -High School Diploma -We can help you get certifications once we offer you a 12 month contract position. -loves working with children -able to handle a childcare work environment Part Time Positions: Monday Through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM OR Full Time: from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with two hour break from 12:00-2:00 Responsibilities: Preschool Teacher for both shifts: Teaching basic skills such as color, shape, numbers, and letter recognition Planning and carrying out curriculum Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime Teaching children how to play fairly with others Observing, assessing, and documenting each assigned child's health, skills, behavior, growth, and development Identifying any physical or mental development concerns in assigned children Meeting with parents to discuss concerns Optimizing children's developmental, intellectual, and social achievements in class activities Creating and leading a supportive, nurturing learning environment that encourages responsibility and motivation. Step into other classrooms as needed to support your teammates Supervision of children for outdoor time. Supervision of Potty Training. Infant Teacher for second shift (2:00-5:00) Create a calm, nurturing, and developmentally rich environment for infants or toddlers Partner with your co-teacher to plan engaging daily experiences (art, music, sensory, outdoor play, etc.) Support smooth daily transitions, including pick-up and end-of-day routines Ensure safety, supervision, and positive family communication Step into other classrooms as needed to support your teammates
