About the job
We are seeking a dedicated, caring and energetic individual to provide after-school childcare for our delightful son. Afterschool care would generally be between 3-6 p.m. and involve ensuring his safety, well-being and enjoyment. There are some early release days when the whole shift would be childcare. Our son has mobility and communication challenges. He is also intelligent and fun to be around. He uses a variety of equipment for mobility and a communication device but also has some verbal language. Additional hours would be for support of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including laundry, dishes, picking up, grocery shopping, errands and other household tasks. Caregiver support: Diapering Potty Training Breathing treatment Transfers between equipment Providing snack or meals, as needed
