About Our Family: We’re a warm and friendly family of four looking for a reliable, Chinese-speaking babysitter to care for our 2-year-old toddler and 3-month-old infant. I work from home full-time, and my husband is a firefighter who works 24-hour shifts with a rotating schedule (24 hours on, 3 days off). Position Details: • Schedule: Approximately 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 PM, typically on days when my husband is at work • Frequency: Weekly needs, but the specific days will vary week to week based on my husband’s fire station schedule • Type: Ongoing, part-time occasional care What We’re Looking For: • Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin (speaking with our children in Chinese is important to us) • Experience caring for infants and toddlers • Reliable, patient, and nurturing • Comfortable with varying weekly schedules • Able to handle typical evening routines (dinner, playtime, bedtime preparation) Responsibilities: • Engage children in age-appropriate activities • Prepare simple meals/snacks • Manage bedtime routines • Light tidying related to childcare We’re looking for someone who can become a trusted part of our family’s routine. I’ll be home working, but need dedicated care for the children during these hours.
