About the job

The main focus will be our 11-year-old, who has autism and is non-verbal. Hes a sweet and calm kid who needs someone patient and gentle someone who can keep him safe, comfortable, and engaged through simple activities. His younger brother (10) has ADHD and is more independent, though at times both boys may need a bit of supervision together. Were primarily looking for help after school: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Friday after 4:00 p.m. Wed also love some occasional help on date nights and Sunday mornings for a few hours. Our goal is to find someone who can build trust with both kids, keep them engaged, and bring consistency and warmth to their routine. Wed like to start getting to know you and adjust the schedule together as we go.
