Afternoon/Evening Care For Fun Young Woman

About the job

Looking for a woman with experience as a caregiver to care for our daughter, age 28, in Waltham. She's smart and loves to laugh, but due to CP, she cannot do things for herself. Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm-10 p.m. (sometimes earlier) from May 6 to October 29 (schedule changes in the fall). Also available are 6am-9 a.m. on Mon/Tue/Wed mornings if interested. We need someone to pick her up at work (using our wheelchair minivan), bring her home, take her out for coffee or the library (she loves YA fantasy books), feed her dinner, and put her to bed. She needs help with all tasks such as eating, toileting, and personal grooming. Please be a non-smoker, fluent in English, able to lift and transfer a 90-pound person, licensed to drive, and legal to work in the U. S. Asking for a commitment at least to the end of October.
