South End Boston Nanny

After 7 years with their wonderful Nanny, a family in the South End is seeking their next long term fit for their two children, ages 5 and 7, starting January 2nd. The family is flexible to guarantee 30-35 hours (12/1-6:30/7 p.m. M-Th- 12/1-6 p.m. F) depending on the number of hours requested by the Nanny. A great match for this role is reliable, trustworthy, and kind- someone energetic and nurturing, who will interact with and engage the children in activities and outings. The position is childcare focused, but the family is hoping for help with children's laundry, light tidying, homework help, and basic meal prep. Driving is required and the Nanny must be comfortable picking up the children at school (45 minute commute). A vehicle is provided for the Nanny to use during working hours. They also have parking available if the Nanny chooses to drive to work. If traveling via public transit, they are located very close to Back Bay station, the Green line and Orange line. Please note that the family lives in a multi floor brownstone so the Nanny must be comfortable with lots of stairs! Both parents work outside of the home. They have no pets. Compensation: $35/hour with optional healthcare stipend. Paid vacations, paid holidays, and paid sick time, with guaranteed hours and all pay on the books.
