We are seeking a reliable and caring occasional babysitter for our two sons, ages 2 and 12. We need someone with a flexible schedule who can provide care for a few hours each day during our week- long monthly visits to Boston. The ideal candidate will be experienced in childcare, patient, and enjoy engaging with children of different ages. Key Responsibilities: - Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for a 2-year-old and a 12-year-old. - Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. - Prepare snacks and meals for the children, if required. - Assist the 12-year-old with homework, if needed. - Maintain the children's play areas and ensure toys are organized. - Follow our routines and guidelines for both children. - Communicate effectively with the parents about the children's activities and any issues that may arise. Our youngest is in the process of being potty trained, so we need someone who can stay on top of it. That includes encouraging regular potty breaks, assisting with transition out of diapers, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment. As for the older one, he is enrolled in a virtual school that he attends. It's important to make sure he stays on task and completes any assigned homework. We'd like someone to oversee this and enforce our rules to ensure his success.
