Hello! We're looking for in-home care for our two little ones. We have a 2-year-old (28 months) girl and a 8-month-old boy. Both parents work full time so the nanny would be caring for the kids while the Dad leaves for work until the Mom gets home. Once the kids wake up, the nanny would be responsible for getting them ready for the day, breakfast and providing a safe, comforting environment. We strive to have a gentle but stern parenting style for our kids. We do adopt the Montessori learning style to a lot of aspects but also incorporate others as well. We encourage our kids to be independent and involved in our daily routine. That means things tend to take twice as long while we take the time to teach said activity/chore and for them to do it themselves. The older kid, 28-month-old girl loves to be outside - riding bikes, playing in her mud kitchen or playhouse. She also loves books and anything drawing or painting. The baby, 8-month-old boy, is still figuring out the world. But he's mostly found right behind his older sister. He's crawling but not quite walking yet - but it'll be soon! They need help with your day to day activities. The older kid is 90% potty trained, and can *mostly* dress herself and get ready. Just needs guidance and help sometimes. The younger one is still a baby and needs help with everything. We're looking for someone with patience and a nurturing approach. Reliability is a must. Someone who can communicate effectively and has a sense of flexibility. While we strive to have a routine with our kids on a day to day basis, they are still very young and things happen 'out of routine' and we just have to go with it. *non-smoker is an absolute must. *we do have a house security system that includes indoor cameras- so if that's not something you're comfortable with, we would not be a good fit. We have plenty of parking! Must be comfortable with dogs!
