We are looking for an empathetic & energetic nanny to care for two children. Located in Huntley; long term One is an independent, creative, and funny 8-year-old and a sweet and easygoing almost 3-year-old who loves to play! We have a mini Goldendoodle. We're hoping to find someone who: Connects well or has experience with confident, self-directed kids, or experience with sensitive kids that can become overwhelmed or anxious with demanding language Brings patience, creativity, and a sense of fun to their day Is creative; enjoys doing arts and crafts and coming up with new ideas for fun Enjoys being present, engaged, empathetic and nurturing without being overly directive Can help manage the household; children's laundry, light housekeeping Is college educated or a plus if you have a background or interest in children's education Day-to-day duties include: Playing with and engaging the kids Preparing meals and snacks, cooking Unloading/loading dishwasher Tidying up common areas and children's play spaces (sweeping, vacuuming 1x weekly) Children's laundry 1-2x weekly Taking the kids on walks, activities, to the park Transportation as needed to part time program beginning after winter break Letting the dog out as needed Parking in driveway Mini Goldendoodle She can be attention seeking at times; esp with new people
