Long-term, Part-time Babysitter Needed For 3 Year Dinosaur Loving Little Boy!

We are looking for a long-term, part-time babysitter. I am a stay at home mom to the dreamiest 3-year-old little boy and pregnant with another- due in February. I need someone who can come in 3-5 days a week for a few hours so that I can take care of things around the house, run errands, attend doctor's appointments, etc. We'd also love someone who could handle date night coverage and we have a 55 lb dog who will be in the daily mix so it's important that you love dogs in addition to children. We're flexible on the days and time. We've had the most magnificent babysitters in the past. We're looking forward to bringing on the next wonderful human who can ease the caretaking load and bring an extra dose of joy and fun and love into our little boy's life! It's important that you are not only capable of handling the physicality of caring for a 3-year-old little boy, but that you will enjoy it. He's honestly SO FUN-there will be lifting, running, catching and just general physical play. Some days will be sporty and outdoors. Some days will be more reading and sensory play. Our little guy LOVES dinosaurs. It's important that whomever is caring for him can match his level of enthusiasm and really engage in imaginative play with him. We love an adventure to the library, park or beach, too! Our parenting approach is probably best described at authoritative. Authoritative parenting is a style that balances structure and nurture, aiming to raise children who are self-reliant, responsible, and confident. It's characterized by setting clear expectations and boundaries, while also providing support and resources to help children meet them. Authoritative parents are responsive to their children's feelings and opinions, and use reasoning and discussion to influence behavior. There is no room for shame or raised voices in this house. It's important that you align well with this approach. We are a good fit for college or graduate students since we can adapt our days and hours to ever-changing school schedules. We also have good experience working with nannies for school aged children that can spend time with us while the other kids they care for are in school.
