My husband and I are trying for our first baby. I am a lawyer and part-time professor at the law school and my husband is a chiropractor. Our hope is to have someone lined up/meet with qualified nanny candidates as soon as we get pregnant so we don't have to stress when the time comes to go back to work. Care would be for a very young child. An ideal day would be the nanny arriving by 8:00 a.m. and leaving when either of us returned from work (on Tuesdays and Fridays, that is 2:30 p.m. for my husband) every other day, it is around 5:00 p.m. for myself. Our hope is to hire someone who can assist our family long term and as our family grows. Doing activties with kiddo and assisting with some household tasks would be appreciated.
