My autistic daughter loves to play with cars and trucks. She is verbal, but can have a hard time communicating emotional needs or pain/discomfort. She does know what she wants when it comes to playing and eating! She enjoys a caregiver that likes to engage and play the way she likes to play. She does need assistance preparing meals and drinks. She also will need help wiping when she has a bowel movement.
