Part-Time Nanny Position

About the job

My wife and I have a 6-month-old girl, and it's time we head back to work. Our schedules are somewhat flexible, but for the moment we would like to plan our needs around the proposed schedule of T-R 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We are looking for someone who has experience with 6-month-old children, preferably nanny experience. Most importantly, experience with 1 on 1 care taking for extended periods of time. Our girl is breast fed, so for the most part the job would require safely heating milk and bottle feeding. A plus would be someone willing to wash the bottles. We've started to introduce foods and ideally we are able to continue to work on that, and as time goes on may have to incorporate that into the nanny duties. We don't foresee a need to transport our daughter anywhere. Willingness to get out of the house and go for walks would be nice, but not something that is necessary. Ideally, we are able to consider an up to date resume and reference list, prior to making any decision to meet for an interview. Although, we understand that often times baby sitting and nanny positions don't require resumes, we've found it can be helpful to separate candidates that are serious about the position, even if it's not what most consider a "professional resume," anything that gives us an idea of your past experience, professional and education would be helpful. It's unlikely we will follow up with you if you're unable to provide something like that. We'd love to be able to move through the process quickly and efficiently, but we don't foresee ourselves rushing to find just anyone.
