I am a first time mom and my baby boy is due 12/25/25. My maternity leave ends mid-March 2026, then I will work from home. My ideal situation is to get occasional help on days where I have meetings or days where my in-laws are unavailable to help. However, I thought it would be wise to ask for more help upfront in case I get overwhelmed. Any house care or pet care you can also do is a bonus! We have a 55 lb Beagle-English Pointer mix named Goby. He is 9 - 10 years old and usually a couch potato. He's good with people and hit-or-miss with other dogs. He sheds. I plan to do a mix of bottle feeding and breast feeding. Most days I'll be home with you, but it may be nice to go to a local coffee shop on occasion. My husband has every other Friday off.
