About the job

We're a family of four (plus a cat) living on Capitol Hill near the metro! Mom runs a school, and dad is a lawyer. Son is 12. Daughter is 16. Grandma lives with us, too. We are looking for someone to drive our son to activities, prepare meals, take care of light housework (We have a cleaning service once a week for the heavy cleaning.), and handle the errands (like getting the car cleaned or picking up something at a nearby store). The ideal hours are Monday through Thursday 4 :30 p.m. to 7:30pm, but there is a little flexibility. The ideal candidate is easy going, flexible, reliable, communicates well, knows how to cook, and likes our quirky sense of humor.
