We are two full-time working parents with a 5-year-old who has some special needs. Our beautiful daughter has a rare genetic condition that has caused her to have some developmental delays. She receives speech, physical, and occupational therapy at school and is progressing every day. We are working on speech and feeding at home. She can eat orally but gets most calories from a gastric tube. She is able to walk independently but may need assistance with stairs She is a bright and intelligent child who loves playtime with everyone in her life. She would do best one-on-one with a loving caretaker to assist with potty training, eating and speech activities. A professional who has experience with a G-tube is ideal. Our little one is such a joy for anyone to be around. We cannot wait to find the right person.
