We're assisting a family in Sunnyvale with 2 elementary aged kids to find a flexible nanny to provide backup care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for flexibility in a role! The Role The Nanny will provide assistance on predetermined early morning hours, 2 or 3 times a week, to support the morning routine when one parent is traveling. The nanny would also be helping with twice a month date nights. All dates would be communicated well in advance to allow the candidate to be able to adjust their schedule with fair notice. The Schedule & Benefits - Early morning support: 2-3 weekdays per week, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Date night support: 2 times a month on weekends, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Competitive hourly rate: $35-$40/hour - Flexible schedule to support your current commitments and schedule Key Responsibilities - For date night, watch a movie or do another activity with the children before bedtime to make sure they're having a fun night - Carry out bedtime routine with the kids - brush teeth, read books, etc. - For early morning support, help the kids with the morning routine - breakfast, make sure bags are packed for school, and take them to school drop off - Morning support would be multiple days in a row to line up with parent travel for work - Become a part of a constructive communication focused home - be open and receptive to feedback and requests from the family Ideal Candidate Qualifications - Ability to be flexible around these pre-designated hours and have a team player attitude - Ability to help children be comfortable with change and feel comfortable quickly with new adults. - Excellent communication and adaptable Why Join Beverly? - Come work with families who value kindness, respect, and professionalism - Find meaningful placements where you'll make a lasting impact - Receive competitive pay and individualized support throughout your placement - Find direct access to a community of experienced nannies and family assistants Want to Learn More?
