A warm and structured San Francisco family is seeking a part-time Nanny + Household Manager to care for their two children and help keep their home running smoothly. Their son (5) is shy in public but energetic and fun at home, while their daughter (3) is social, playful, and loves engaging activities. They're looking for a reliable, empathetic nanny who will feel like family while also taking initiative around the home. Schedule: Monday-Wednesday: 3:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday: 3:00-9:00 p.m. Friday or Saturday: flexible hours to round out a guaranteed 20 hours per week Duties Include: School pickups & driving to activities (must have own car) Engaging the kids with structured, fun, and age-appropriate activities Helping with homework and keeping the kids on schedule Household manager tasks (~2 hours per day): cooking, light cleaning, organizing, and ensuring the home runs smoothly Meal prep and keeping a mindful approach toward a vegetarian household Compensation & Benefits: $35-40/hour (flexible, payroll or cash) Guaranteed 20 hours per week 5 paid PTO/sick days Family Values & Qualities Wanted: The ideal candidate will: Have a safety-first mindset, especially with driving Be reliable, organized, and proactive, taking initiative without being asked Show warmth, empathy, and care-building a genuine bond with the children Maintain a structured, calm approach that keeps kids engaged and on track Be comfortable cooking vegetarian meals and respectful of household dietary preferences Non-Negotiables: Non-smoker Must respect and support a vegetarian household About the Family: This family values structure, warmth, and open communication.
