About the job
We’re a family in Oakland looking for an attentive caregiver for our two boys (7 and almost 3). We need help a few afternoons a week, generally between 4:30–7:30 p.m. (days and hours can vary). Responsibilities include picking the kids up from school/after-care, taking them to nearby parks, engaging them in activities, preparing simple kid-friendly dinners, and helping with light clean-up. Bonus if you’re open to light household help (tidying, folding kids’ laundry, organizing toys). Our ideal caregiver is reliable, warm, and experienced with both preschoolers and school-age kids. Pay: $28–$30/hr DOE. If you’re caring, communicative, and enjoy active afternoons with kids, we’d love to connect!
