Temporary Weekend Family Assistant / Mother’s Helper (with Potential for Ongoing Occasional Help) We’re a family in Mission Viejo with two kids (4. 5 years and 10 months) looking for an extra set of hands while dad’s work schedule is especially busy. We are hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone we can also rely on for occasional date nights, one weekend per month when dad is on call, and occasional weekday evenings. Role overview: This is a temporary role for the next month (full weekends), with the goal of building a long term relationship for occasional ongoing help afterward — including date nights, one weekend per month when dad is on call, and occasional weekday evenings. What we’re looking for: • Someone incredibly nurturing, energetic, and dependable. • Infant and preschool experience required. • Must have a clean driving record (for errands and occasional drop-offs/pick-ups). • A person who enjoys both caring for kids and helping a household run smoothly. Responsibilities may include (not all at once, but we need someone willing and competent in each): • Caring for the kids: sometimes both children (including date nights), other times just one while mom takes the other out or is home doing chores. • Household support: Emptying/loading dishwasher, simple meal prep, light tidying, laundry • Errands: grocery pickup, drop-offs/pick-ups. • Supervising the kids while mom organizes/works on projects. Schedule: • Weekends for the next month: 2 full days (about 16 hours total), with flexible shifts (10am–6 p.m. OR 1pm–9 p.m. depending on our need). • Ongoing afterward: occasional date nights, one weekend per month, and occasional weekday evenings.
