About the job
We are looking for a caretaker for our 11-year-old son with autism at our home in Los Alamitos. Responsibilities include preparing meals, keeping him safe, assisting with toileting, dressing and hygiene, going on community outings and leading him in structured activities. On Wednesdays, we also need assistance with taking our son to his weekly choir after school activity. Hours are as follows: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays 12:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. Pay is $30 / hr Prior experience withs special needs children is a plus. Our son tends to elope, so physical fitness, including the ability to run and lift 90 lbs is a must. Thank you for your interest!
