Part-time Nanny, Flexible & Engaging Web Job # 10808 Job Date: 11/17/2025 Location: Lafayette, California Schedule: This family is open to either of the following schedules Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm, plus either Fridays and Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm, plus three days per week from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The candidate needs to be flexible for slight changes to the weekend schedule. Availability to work on some holidays is a plus, not a requirement Children: 3 months old and 3 years old Duties: Candidate will provide attentive childcare and support the family's daily routine, working closely with family's full-time Monday-Friday nanny and a stay-at-home parent to ensure consistency and teamwork. Responsibilities include light housekeeping related to the children and maintaining general household tidiness, as well as handling the baby's laundry. Candidate will also attend classes and activities with the children, assisting with their engagement and development while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach within the household Requirements: This position calls for a proactive and intuitive professional who exercises excellent judgment, reliability, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to "read the room" and seamlessly align with the household's rhythm and evolving needs. They should thrive in a multi-staffed, team-oriented environment, maintain professional boundaries, and communicate effectively with adults. A willingness to take direction is essential, and parents fully support the Nanny's authority when they are on duty. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID, annual flu shots, Tdap and MMR. Spanish speaker strongly preferred Salary: $40. 00-$45. 00 Benefits: This position offers paid vacation, paid holidays that fall on a work day, paid sick days, plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year.
