We need a caregiver to transport our special needs 5-year-old from therapy in Irvine to school in Irvine. Car seat provided. He has autism and epilepsy. He is a sweet and joyful kid who loves to sing. It is unlikely that he will have a seizure during transportation, but you will need to learn what to do in event of a seizure. He would need a special magnet swiped over an implant on his chest. If the seizure lasts 5 minutes (unlikely), he would need a nasal spray. Pick up from therapy is at 9:50 a.m. three days and 10:50 a.m. one day. He will need sunblock applied and then a ride to school. He may need a diaper change at that time. You need to be able to lift a 40 lb. child if needed. We are also looking for an intermittent baby-sitter and may request extra driving shifts as well. You must be COVID-vaccinated. $35/ride.
