A couple musts for us: -okay getting dirty playing outside (possibly) he loves being outside, we are all for him getting dirty/wet/whatever if he's having fun. Clothes are washable! -no screens for him so we expect our caregiver to be engaging in play and reading with him -comfortable with our animals (2 dogs, 2 outside cats, and chickens) -ideally a self-starter, seeing things that need to be done and doing them (like picking up toys after done playing, dirty dishes into the dishwasher, etc) -confident in distracting him if he's upset (he's get attached to me so first few days will be rough, he will need an energetic distraction!) Meal prep may be occasionally making him lunch (pb sandwich, cheese and turkey with fruit, etc), possibly folding his laundry
