Part-time Nanny

About the job

We are looking for reliable support part-time. Most weeks will have a minimum of 20 hours, average of 25. My husband works full time (he is the Care. com account owner) and I am a nurse and work part-time (2 or 3 days a week) my scheduled days vary each week and one of those days is usually half day I also go to a weekly therapy appt on Thurs afternoons that we would need care for. Our son will be 2 in December. He is full of energy, loves trucks, reading books, being outdoors, and is the sweetest little hugger I've ever met. We'd love for him to have some consistency and connection, someone that is comfortable taking him out for adventures/to do things outside the house (I. e. aquarium or zoo visits, go to the park or splash pad, hiking, library. Etc.), be able to help prepare meals for him, and do some light housework. We do have 2 dogs who are 11+ years old each. If you are interested and have time please reach but out to us, thank you. promoting learning through fun, allowing safe space to explore and figure out emotions/ regulation, outdoor time and exercise, healthy nutrition and sleep. He loves trucks, construction, music (especially Blippi), reading books, playing outdoors, helping and being included in daily tasks. Emotional regulation, firm boundaries, consistency to support good habits (eating meals at the kitchen table, picking up toys before moving on to a new activities, support with impulse control and patience/ waiting/delayed gratification, etc.) Energy to play and can meet him on his level, able to teach and explain concepts well as he is a very curious and intelligent little boy. Creative thinker and problem solver. You can park in our driveway or along the street. 2 dogs. Both are seniors, 11-year-old and 12+ years old and 55-60lbs. One is a shepherd mix and the other is a catahoula leopard dog mix. One is shy and typically will just hang out in our son's room (she sleeps in his room for every nap and bedtime) until she gets to know you. The other will ask for love and want to be pet. Both will bark at the door when first entering and calm down quickly.
