One parent is a pilot with a varying schedule day to day, but always working weekdays and the other parent is a nurse doing shift work from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The nurse will work three shifts a week with sometimes shifts falling on weekends. There are a lot of moving schedule pieces but we will have the nurse schedule a month at a time, so there should be good warning despite variability. Our son is a sweet boy who is active and very curious. He loves playing with balls, brings us his books to read, and absolutely loves our dog. Our son is a really good sleeper and takes one long nap in the middle of the day that can be anywhere from 1. 5-3 hours. He is a good eater, although messy. He calms down very well with a pacifier. He is vocal and a caregiver could enjoy helping us teach him words.
