I have an in home daycare. I live in Clarksville in the Sango area just barely off Ashland City Rd. I have over 10 years experience caring for children and am a mother of four amazing and wonderful boys. I've worked in both public daycare and in the Montgomery County School System for 9 years. I've also watched after the children of my friends and family. I usually never have the need to leave my house during business hours. However, I drive a safe suburban and have proper car seats for all ages just in case it may become necessary to transport them. I have car insurance and a good driving record. I only care for a maximum number of FOUR children at a time other than the ones that are related to me as required by Tennessee law. The children I care for are all generally clean, healthy, and usually well behaved. We have a home with enough room so that your child/ren will never feel cramped here. You may find that I hold myself to a much higher standard than most in home daycare centers and public daycare centers in a number of ways. My home is childproofed and kept clean. I encourage, teach and assist all children to practice good hygiene, manners and appropriate behavior. I am very passionate about what I do. I am starting to believe that caring for children is what God put me on this planet to do. You can be assured that all of the children in my care are safe and sound in the hands of a patient, kind and capable professional. I serve healthy foods including breakfast until 8:30 morning snack is offered at 10:15, lunch at 11:00 for the infants followed by the older children on or just before 12:00, after nap time snack around 3:15, and another snack offered after school time at 4:15 to tide them over until dinner. Your child will be well fed and given seconds until they are satisfied. We do a prayer at mealtimes that is nonspecific to any denomination. The children are not required to pray but are encouraged not to interrupt and to be respectful of those who do participate. I do circle time, coloring, art, read stories, and depending on age, preschool activities to help get them ready for kindergarten. I will also give them access to, and assist them with, abcmouse.com for learning on my iPad. I have endless amounts of all age appropriate toys games puzzles outdoor toys etc. No one here smokes. We live in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I've been trained in CPR and first aid. I will love and respect your children just as I would want someone to treat mine.
