In-Home Pet Sitting (Part Time)

I have always shared a great love for animals with my family growing up, especially my mom who also has bleeding heart syndrome easily giving in to adopting a few more fur babies with me. I have personal experience with all companion animals, quite a bit of farm animals and even some exotics. I began in-home pet sitting for one of my neighbors that traveled quite frequently beginning at the age of 11 up until I enrolled in college. While I was caring for their animals, several of my other neighbors also asked for my services as well. I soon began pet setting for about three different families per week. I volunteered at my local Pet's Mart to help feed, clean and care for the animals awaiting adoption when I was 17. Now, I go to NC State University where I am pursuing a degree in Animal Science with the aspiration to become a veterinarian. I have been a teaching assistant for one of my animal anatomy/physiology and am a repeat Dean's List student. I would love to care for your animals!

Emily has been dedicated to caring for animals her entire life; their comfort is paramount, and she has a history of going above and beyond to ensure their happiness - from caring for a homeless, end-of-life cat in the neighborhood to daily trips to an abandoned parking lot to rescue a scared cat and her new litter. It is enough to find someone capable and dependable, but, as any pet owner knows, there is a peace of mind that comes with knowing your pet will also be loved in your absence.

I'm Your Friendly Neighborhood House/pet Sitter!

Avg response < 1 hrs
Need a dependable person to keep your home warm for you or to care for your furry (also open to scaly and feathery) family while you're away? I'm a dependable sitter available for daily visits, holidays, and or overnight stays! I often closely work with families in multi-fur-baby homes. I've previously worked with dog breeders, families that foster on the regular, with senior animals that require extra care, ones with multiple health issues, medications, and having special needs, as well as young and energetic fur babies that require their own sort of special attention. I've cared for all sorts of animals; such as ferrets, hamsters, dogs, and cats. So needless to say, I don't mind keeping a lint brush on hand ;). (P. S. Don't see your animal baby listed there? Please help me change that!) I'll also alternate your lights, bring in mail/packages, water your plants, take out trash, etc. Upon request, I'd be happy to share my letter of recommendation with references.

Eden watches our cat for us while we are gone out of town. She's always on time and she keeps in touch while we are on the road by texting photos of our cat. She responsibly leaves the key for us exactly where we need it. She has also gone out of her way to look for things we left, and also brings in mail and dry cleaning. She also takes out the garbage! Lovely person :)
