Children will learn about iconic places like the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Pier 39, and the cable cars through crafts, games, and storytelling. The highlight will be our field trip adventure, where campers can experience the city’s magic up close. Special Event: Mini City Festival We’ll transform camp into a mini San Francisco! Campers will visit “stations” representing iconic SF landmarks—Golden Gate Bridge craft station, Chinatown lanterns, and a cable-car photo booth. Young chefs will learn to prepare fun, tasty, and healthy snacks and meals using simple tools and fresh ingredients. From fruit kabobs to no-bake granola bars, smoothies, and creative wraps, campers will gain confidence in the kitchen while exploring flavors and teamwork. The week will end with a vegetable pizza from our garden—a delicious celebration of what they’ve learned! Special Event: Footsteps Farmers Market & Tasting Day Campers prepare their favorite no-bake snacks and set up tasting tables for staff and families. They’ll create recipe cards to send home and compete in a fun “Top Chef” challenge with ribbons for presentation, creativity, and teamwork.

The week will include plenty of red, white, and blue spirit, with a mini “parade” and camp celebration. Special Event (Friday, June 12, 2026): Footsteps Maker Fair Campers will set up booths to showcase inventions, recycled creations, and STEM challenges. Families are invited Friday afternoon to visit the “Maker Fair” and see children’s projects.
