I have performed in churches, schools, auditoriums, dive bars, concert halls, TV shows, outdoor festivals. The idea of expressing and connecting with others through music is empowering to me. I like talking about music, gear and guitar in general. During my early years I learned music and guitar through private lessons with different teachers. From the beginning I always wanted to be exposed to a wide variety of musical styles. I gained insight from playing as many gigs as I could, varying from church services, weddings, heavy metal shows. I also enjoy teaching guitar and like to cater my lessons to the specific needs of each student. I keep an open mind and work constantly on learning new subjects, concepts and skills. I have knowledge in: music theory, technique, songwriting and music production. Heavy metal is my main expressive musical outlet but I also enjoy playing and writing other genres of music such as: Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova. In 2010 I joined heavy metal band HeadCrusher, Since then we have released 3 albums, mixed and mastered by award winning producers Tue Madsen and Jesse Gander. Our productions are available worldwide through all major digital music platforms such as: Itunes, Spotify, Amazon, to name a few. Music has opened many opportunities for me. It has taken me to international stages in support of some of the best heavy metal acts in the world. In addition of all my music and production roles in HeadCrusher, I also focus on the business side, networking, booking, promotion and social media. I am constantly working from my home studio where I focus on songwriting, guitar lessons and guitar production services such as reamping. I proudly use and endorse: ESP Guitars, Randall Amplifiers and Two Notes Audio Engineering. I'm bilingual, completely fluent in Spanish

Tex's Music Lessons (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    Buda, TX

Years of Experience: 7 Location Options: In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 18 Age Groups: Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Bass Guitar Lessons,Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: My name is Tex. I’m a multi-instrumentalist originally from Houston. I was a nationally touring guitarist, big band jazz pianist, and all around hired gun musician for anything from music videos and fill in gigs, to session work and tours across the country in every genre from pop and country to jazz and metal. I’ve been teaching since I was 18 and have taught children as young as 4 and adults in their 60s with everything in between. My approach to teaching is finding out my students goals and helping them reach them rather than giving them arbitrary work and teaching them things they have no interest in. I’ll get you there.

Zach's Music Lessons (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    Buda, TX

Years of Experience: 15 Location Options: In Studio Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Acoustic, Christian, RB, Pop Age Groups: Young Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Bass Guitar Lessons,Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: Hi my name is Zach. I was classically trained from the age of 7 by the stereotypical "slap you on the wrists" piano teachers. I experienced enormous pressure because I was constantly performing, however this strict routine awarded me many accolades and eventually the opportunity to learn from some of the best jazz pianist in the north east. I am nothing like my old teachers, I am constantly positive, I am fun and encourage my students to bring up songs or strategies that they want to learn along with my lesson material. When I was 18, I dropped out from a scholarship at UVM and toured with the quickly growing band I started in my hometown. By the time I was 22, I was signing a deal that would give us promotion through Atlantic, distribution though ADA, and we were partnering up for tours, performing with a lot of bands that were on their way up such as Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, All Time Low, and Hanson; and festivals such as Warped Tour, Bamboozle, Mt. Dew tour, etc. I played bass in the band, and recorded guitar leads on the albums. These instruments came easy to me with my piano background-a bass student of mine just won an award after only 5 months with me-although I didn't have much to do with that-he put in the work! I am very laid back, I understand life is unpredictable; the more you practice the faster you will learn. If you don't have time to practice, we can use our time together to do so. This is something that YOU as a student are doing for YOU! I also run Pro Tools 9 off a laptop and a laptop version of a mixing board in a small studio that is the office in my home! For students who wish to take advantage of this, I will often work with them by recording finished pieces, or help them hear what their playing sounds like played softly, harder, legato, etc. I make sure to keep lessons fun and light, I challenge my students but take breaks to laugh, I have the best students in the world, and I cannot wait to see what they become. -Education- Degree: Master's of Arts in Personal Counseling School: St. Edwards Dates: 2018-07 Degree: Master's of Arts in Personal Counseling School: St. Edwards Dates: 2018-07 -Awards- Name:https://www.theday.com/article/20130626/nws10/306279752 Institution:The Day Awarded:2012-07
