I played in the first music band called “Chamber Music” with the great Sulhi Alwadi, where we started recording classical music for the Syrian television in 1964. In 1967 I won the first prize award for cello on the Country level. I continued my musical education for many years and in 1976 I attended a 3 months musical internship in London. I created a band outside the music academy along with few fellow musicians and we named our band "The Tigers", we were very popular; we played in Syria as well as other Arab countries, I started making music for different Syrian Television series that were directed by great directors such as Hani Alroomani, Haitham Hakki, Maamoon Albunni, Ayman Sheikhani and many more. I was also a committee member in the Syrian music festival for many years. * Formal Education: I am a graduate of the Arabic Conservatory of music, and The Higher Institute of Music. Performing Experience: I performed in the Chamber Music Band when I was young and I also made my own band with fellow classmates where we played popular Arabic as well as English and French songs. Experience Teaching: I have 30 years of teaching experience which includes teaching children, young adults and adults.
