My band, Quiet Company, has released 5 LPs, 9 EPs, and a handful of singles since our inception in 2005, all of which I was the sole songwriter for. In 2012, we set a new record for the amount of Austin Chronicle Music Awards won in a single year, where I was named "Musician of the Year" and "Songwriter of the Year" and our album We Are All Where We Belong won "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year." Since then, we were nominated for "Best Rock Band" 3 more times and won it twice. I've toured extensively in the United States, Canada, Germany, Slovakia, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I love the idea of sharing this thing I love with someone else. I'm most comfortable with guitar, bass, and songwriting, but I regularly play drums and piano professionally, as well. Private Education: I took guitar lessons when I was young. Performing Experience: I've been playing music since I was 14, and have been a professional musician since 2005.
