Drawing Classes in Pound Ridge, NY

Join us for an imaginative afternoon where little storytellers become authors and illustrators! Children will explore creativity through drawing, storytelling, collage, and bookmaking while creating their very own handmade storybook to take home. Young artists will be encouraged to create images inspired by themes such as days at the pool, beach adventures, holidays, magical places, and more. Teachers will gently guide children through the storytelling process by asking imaginative questions to help inspire characters, settings, and ideas. Children who need extra support with writing will be assisted by teachers as they bring their stories to life through words and pictures. Once complete, each child will collage and decorate their cover before binding their book together with beautiful ribbons. This workshop encourages creativity, confidence, imagination, and self-expression in a warm and supportive environment.
