Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending School of Rock, Clark, NJ and North Palm Beach, FL, as well as continued weekly theory lessons with Jasyn Rymer of Guitar Workshoppe Stuart, FL. Tai gained performance experience in rock, metal, blues, progressive, and classical styles by playing at such venues as Harmony Lounge, Fort Pierce, South Florida Fairgrouds, West Palm Beach, and School of Rock On the Road Again Tour, playing at various venues up the east coast to New York. Tai managed his prior band, Artisan Pilate, and manages his current band, Fear of Infirmity. Though Tai can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are metal/ hard rock, which have great influence on his fast style solos. I play bass, guitar, drums, and vocals. I have been playing since I got my first guitar at 13 and actually started playing my fathers bass at the age of 8. I'm extremely patient and attentive. Very meticulous as I served in the Air Force for 4 years. I am currently in college for becoming a music teacher to elementary students so i feel this is a perfect opportunity for me. I have been in countless bands most of which were very successful. I have always had a love for the raw sound of an acoustic guitar but feel in love with jazz so I moved to electric as well. Formal Education: Prattville High School Community College of the Air Force Indian River State College Performing Experience: I began performing with some friends in junior high school. The band didn't really make it but I was quickly picked up by another band and we actually became pretty popular in our city. I then left to do some solo gigs. Experience Teaching: I began teaching at 18 and had 5 students. I am extremely patient and attentive. The only reason i quit teaching was to go to Basic Military Training. I followed up on my students after getting out of Basic Training and found they had joined our youth group band at First Baptist Prattville and were doing well. I believe music isn't just about the notes or chords, it's about how you play them. Music is about how those chords and notes make you feel. I attempt to teach my students not just the basic notes and chords but a technique to channel those feelings into what your playing.
