My musical journey started when I was 10 years old in elementary school. I studied music throughout high school. My first instrument of choice was the trumpet. My dedication to the instrument took me to state competion three times. I picked up the guitar, my senior year in high school. Through my dedication, and practicing 10 hours a day, I was performing in a band 6 months later. I have playing and teaching ever since. I have studied music theory as well, and incorporate that into my lessons. I have performed in Rock and Blues bandsin Texas. It is very rewarding to pass on my knowledge to others who have a love of music. *
