Come on to our history of black Americans tour presented by Junket! We often learn the history and stories of heroes of the American Revolution and the early history of America. What isn't often covered in history classes and history books is the story of African Americans who were enslaved during this time. On this unique tour, we'll discover the stories of African Americans who lived and worked in Colonial Williamsburg. From the slaves buried in the graveyard of the Historic First Baptist Church, to the woman who left property to her freed black servants, you'll uncover the untold stories of the oppressed, and their path to freedom.

Join us as we discover the History of Christmas in the colony while exploring the handcrafted decorations that adorn the historic buildings. On our 1-hour leisurely stroll thru the city, you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the most iconic decorations that are uniquely Colonial Williamsburg. Handcrafted one-of-a-kind decorations made by employees and residents of the city are beautifully and proudly displayed on each building and we will discover the most beautiful and unique of this year's display. We will discover the religious, humorous, and heartfelt traditions that span the centuries. While learning how the decorations are made, how they became a tradition, and even helpful tips and tricks on how the create your own decorations at home. Christmas in Colonial Williamsburg is truly an experience that you and your family will cherish for years to come.

Travel with a guide into the Nation's Capital and learn some of the secrets about the town. We will depart with a breakfast stop around 9am. We start with visiting some popular sites at Arlington Cemetery, then make our way to many of the memorials. Lincoln, Vietnam, Korea, World War II, FDR, Dr. King are highlights. A driving tour of the city is next with picture stops of the White House and Capitol. The afternoon is free time for lunch or whatever you would like (typically around two hours). After meeting we begin to depart with a possible bonus stop before leaving the town, we arrive back Williamsburg between 8-10pm.

This is The Historic Triangle Tour. Travel with a local back in time and also in chronological order. We will spend the first part of our day in the 1600's and the second half in the 1700's. This is where the country began, you will see and learn history from a local. We start our day at Jamestown, the beginning 1607 with a guided tour. Our lunch stop will be next at the cafe which is owned by a local restaurant where we will have an included meal which can be colonial style if preferred. After lunch we travel into the 1700's with a battlefield tour and finishing up at the Revolutionary War Museum.

This private tour picks you up from your hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia to visit Berkeley Plantation. Berkeley’s 1726 Georgian mansion is the birthplace of Benjamin Harrison V, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and also the birthplace of William Henry Harrison, 9th president of the United States, and his grandson, Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president. During the Civil War, Berkeley was occupied by General McClellan’s troops. While at Berkeley, General Butterfield composed the familiar tune “Taps”, played by his bugler. We will explore the Native American, Colonial and Civil War artifacts, along with historical paintings and exhibits in the 18th century basement museum. The tour offers a close look at the site's architecture and surroundings, giving a clear picture of life in that era. The only ghost tour in the world based on the first ever photo-study of ghosts! Real ghost photos, featured in the books Haunted Historic Colonial Williamsburg Virginia with Breakthrough Ghost Photography, Parts 1 & 2, are shown at each stop on a large computer notebook (Samsung Galaxy). Guides will point out the exact location around or in the house or building where the photo was taken and encourage travelers to take their own photos. Tour guides will give relevant historical information pertaining to the haunting as well as personal stories encountered by the book's author and others, including interpreters and security guards from Colonial Williamsburg.
