    by Taylor Robinson Music

    Waco, TX

Years of Experience: 11 Location Options: In Home Travel Radius: 20 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Drum Lessons Formal Education: I am currently attending MCC's commercial music program. I am majoring in audio technology. Private Education: I have taken lessons off and on throughout the years but most of my knowledge comes from rons of research and tips from many drummers. Performing Experience: I have been in 5 serious bands. 2 of which have been touring band where we have played all over Texas, Louisana, New Mexico and surrounding cities. Experience Teaching: I have been teaching for the last 3 years. I love teaching all styles and genres for all ages, preferably ages 7 and up. Any age earlier than that is just too hard to teach due to so much detail in lessons. I love playing and teaching rock and jazz and everyrthing in between. I love theory so I am very into playing dirrerent time signatures linear fills and putting rudiments into everyday play.

    Joshua's Music Lessons (Piano)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    Waco, TX

Location Options: In Home Travel Radius: 12 Genres: Blues, Jazz, Classical, Christian, Gospel, Pop Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Under 6 Years Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: Hi, my name is Joshua, and I am a pianist from Waco, Texas. I am a full-time piano performance major at Baylor, and I have studied piano for nine to ten years, now. I am classically trained on piano, but I play jazz and pop as well. My teaching will likely consist primarily of classical music, but I am open to giving instruction in jazz as well. While I do not have much teaching experience yet, I have received thorough instruction from the Baylor faculty on how to teach piano. My teaching philosophy centers around my students' well-being. Music is meant to enrich our lives as people; people do not exist to create music. I never sacrifice my students' well-being or mental health for the sake of musical progress. Teaching is incredibly fun for me, and I want learning and performing to be fun for my students. I hope to meet you soon!
