I am a full-time piano performance major at Baylor, and I have studied piano for nine to ten years, now. I am classically trained on piano, but I play jazz and pop as well. My teaching will likely consist primarily of classical music, but I am open to giving instruction in jazz as well. While I do not have much teaching experience yet, I have received thorough instruction from the Baylor faculty on how to teach piano. My teaching philosophy centers around my students' well-being. Music is meant to enrich our lives as people; people do not exist to create music. I never sacrifice my students' well-being or mental health for the sake of musical progress.
