Forest Park boasts over 5,200 acres of lush greenery and 70 miles of pristine trails, making it one of the largest urban parks in the U.S. - and, in my humble opinion, our best! In this guided tour with a local expert, you'll hike beneath a grand canopy of majestic Douglas Fir, stunning Bigleaf Maple, whispering Western Hemlock, mighty Oregon White Oak and more. Hikers will enjoy jaw-dropping views of the Cascade mountain range, featuring Mount Hood - Oregon's highest peak at 11,250 feet. Other attractions on our tour include Portland's storied Witch’s Castle and the historic Pittock Mansion. We’ll stop outside the mansion for a small picnic of local goodies, restroom breaks, and Insta-worthy photo ops before trekking back down to the starting point.

Gravel riding has taken the cycling world by storm. Prepare yourself for an urban forest adventure within the city. Ride from our shop in Old Town through the bustling Pearl District & Nob Hill as your guide highlights historical and cultural hotspots. Leave the city behind as you pedal into America’s largest urban forest – Forest Park. Carved into the slopes of the West Hills, cruise the stunning car-free gravel path which traverses the entire park and offers a scenic half-day trip all within city limits. The 11 mile bike and pedestrian path through the 5000 acre park is enshrouded with towering trees. Catch glimpses of the city below as you zip through the temperate forest. Return the way you came or head over the St Johns Bridge into North Portland for amazing views of the West Hills and the Willamette River from Overlook. 28 miles - This tour appeals to fit beginner and experienced gravel riders on our Carbon Gravel Bikes as well as new adventurers on our Gravel E-bikes.

The early tour guest gets the spectacular views. We’ll pick you up in central downtown Portland, and swing by one of our favorite coffee roasters for a chance to pick up coffee (or tea). At OHSU, we’ll walk with you to the Aerial Tram. We’ll ride up this feat of Italian engineering up to the top as the early sun reveals the city’s glowing colors. Once there, depending on sunrise timing and weather, we'll watch the sun crest the horizon, or check out the city views in the early morning light. After we ride back to the bottom, we'll tell you the story of the bridge and its quixotic lights, and orient you to the city whose east-west divider lies before us. The Aerial Tram was built in 2006 to connect the main campus of Oregon Health Sciences University with the new neighborhood of the South Waterfront. We will be joining students and medical staff on their daily tram ride!

From fiery deaths to watery graves: In this 1.5 mile cemetery walking tour, we weave what we know of the peoples who lived here for millennia with verifiable stories of recent centuries. We can only guess, based on our psychics’ readings and eerie coincidences we have observed, where people here before us feared to walk and canoe at night. As a wise person wrote, every story ends as a ghost story. Our ghosts are legion. We now call it Oregon; “ourigan” was ancestral home to hundreds of thousands. They have left a darkness here, expressed with stories from the earliest days of our written history to modern times. Starting with early disasters, we will tell ghost stories we have collected, from fiery deaths to those in the waters of nearby river; from self-inflicted to deaths brought by the state or a rich man’s guilt. Our route takes us through the inner eastside, where more of Portland’s disasters have happened than any other part of the city & where many early settlers are buried.

There is said to be over 4000 waterfalls; many of which you have to hike to see. On this tour you'll hike the western, rainforested, southern side of the Gorge, dubbed "waterfall alley" where we'll have you getting misted by waterfalls, peering over cliffs, and learning stories of the area only the locals know.

Borosilicate glass blowing is a unique art that uses a table-mounted torch to melt and manipulate glass. While more niche than traditional glass blowing, this type of flameworking offers participants a unique, hands-on artistic experience. Each student will be equipped with their own torch and will make several glass pieces with support from Brahim.

Start in the inner Eastside at 833 SE Main #124, where we will safely fit you for a bike and helmet, ready for a sweet 7-11 mile ride through a pretty residential neighborhood, to our favorite rose garden, into an art-heavy industrial district, across the sexy Tilikum Bridge, and onto Portland's waterfront. From there, it's a trip along the edge of downtown and more stories, before we head over another bridge back to our shop! Check out our new two-hour option! Easy riding, little hills, 5-8 miles. You'll visit most of the city's quadrants, ride over two bridges, and along the Willamette River. We'll visit almost-secret beaches, read poetry written in sidewalks and rocks, see public art of every shape, color and texture. And have you tried some of the city's best doughnuts or ice cream?
