We are the "Quiet Alternative to an Airboat Ride". A boating, kayaking and walking tour in Everglades National Park. Our most popular tour! With your Florida Master Naturalist Guide on the boat; searching for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rosette spoonbills, herons, egrets, ospreys, eagles and shore birds, learn about the Everglades different ecosystems, its long history and rich culture. At 1st sheltered destination, we will deploy very stable kayaks. The stealth of the kayak allows you to get close to the flora and fauna. Our next destination is an uninhabited barrier island beach where you will be led on a leisurely, hands-on walking tour. Expect to see more seashells than you ever have. After the walk, we are back in the kayaks, then the boat, then back to home base. Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather. The first option, we call it the secret beach, is a much quieter option. It is way less crowded than the main beach on Keewaydin Island, so if you want a more chilled out, quiet, and relaxing experience this one may be for you. The second option is to be dropped off in the heart of the action at the main beach. This is a favorite hangout for locals, buzzing with activity, and there are usually lots of boats (particularly on the weekends). We also provide each passenger a BEACH CHAIR WITH CANOPY, BEACH TOWEL, BEACH UMBRELLA, SOUVENIR SHELL BAG, BUCKET & SHOVEL FOR KIDS, BEACH GAMES, COMPLIMENTARY WATER, SODA AND SNACK.

We have the earliest start time on our morning trip, a midday and a mid afternoon. Our guides have extensive kayaking guiding experience on both flat water and whitewater which for guest safety in these tidal areas. If you are looking to see a manatee in a kayak this is best location and the best chance to see the elusive manatee in a kayak. We are only one of two outfitters that go on the unique route in search for the manatees giving it more solitude the other rivers while paddling thru the maze of sawgrass prairies and mangrove tunnels. At the end of the trip we will spend around a half an hour looking for alligators and manatees in the port of the isle canal. The manatees love this area because of the warmer water.
