Located just 25 minutes from New Orleans and 10 minutes away from the New Orleans International Airport, Destrehan Plantation is the oldest documented plantation home in the Lower Mississippi Valley. It is also the only plantation accessible by rideshare or taxi. Our tours are rich in political, social and economic history.
