Our shelling and dolphin tour is a great way to get out on the water, search for shells, hermit crabs, and look for dolphins. Looking for shells in Destin is not the same as shelling on Sanibel Island, but you will get to enjoy the experience of shelling and participate in Destin Snorkel’s famous ‘hermit crab’ races. In addition to finding shells and crabs, many people find a variety of marine life; baby seahorses, baby shrimp, puffer fish, blue crabs and file fish. Our Captain and mate will educate the children about the various marine life. After the shelling part of the tour, our Captain will take you searching for dolphins in the Bay or Gulf.

Join us for the exceptional Sunset Cruise and dolphin-watching excursion aboard the Hydrojet, which features a breathtaking tour of Destin Harbor and navigates the East Pass. Upon entering the Gulf, acceleration will occur. As we traverse the beach to the east on the Hydrojet, our crew will remain vigilant for various marine species, including dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, manatees, and whales. When marine life is located, we will pause to facilitate photography and videography. On days with choppy waters, wave jumping will be engaged, and splashing may occur. “Vera Marie” raises the bar for fishing head boats “Party Boats”. She runs two fishing trips per day during the season and 1 trip per day during the off season when available. She is also excellent for corporate parties, holiday events, family reunions, weddings, bachelor/ette parties and more. The Vera Marie is a 70′ walk-around. She also has a Sun Deck, large Air-Conditioned salon and restrooms.

While visiting Crab Island you can enjoy lounging on the Corinthian Catamaran or enjoy swimming, playing and eating from one of the many vendors at Crab Island.
